COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) - A Columbia woman was arrested for allegedly being connected with the false filing of vehicle title applications to obtain loans.

Quierra Dominique Outten, 22, was arrested on July 12 and charged with two counts of altering, forging or counterfeiting a certificate of title and two counts of obtaining property under false pretenses.

According to SLED warrants, Outten is accused of going to the DMV location on Shop Road in December 2014 and filing an application for a vehicle she did not own. She then went and got a $6,250 loan from Titlemax that was never repaid.

A few days later, she did the same thing. Both vehicles were held at a wrecker in Marion, SC, the warrants say.

Her arrest came after the state department of motor vehicles requested SLED to investigate.

Outten was booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center. The case will be prosecuted by the South Carolina Attorney General's Office.
