A major update has been released for Train Sim World 2. There’s a lot of new features introduced along with fixes. One of these new changes is in the User Interface, which should be refreshing for players.

Added as well is the new Gradient Profile display. Other new features include the ability to spawn on foot in hourly increments as well as the Crosshair Visibility option to the Settings Menu.

Rush Hour

Before we take a closer look into what other things arrived with the update, the game has also launched its first-ever Rush Hour route. This is none other than the Boston Sprinter, which runs between Boston and Providence. Those familiar with railroad history know that this is one of the busiest, fastest, and oldest passenger lines in the US. It’s going to feature the Amtrak ACS-64 or the MBTA F40PH-3C locomotives.

To access the Boston Sprinter, just get the Season Ticket offered with a 10% discount until September 3. In addition to the Boston Sprinter, ticket owners get two extra Rush Hour routes: the Nahverkehr Dresden and London Commuter.
