Mary Ann Patterson

Mary Ann Patterson, 94, quietly slipped away on July 13, 2020, in Rogers, to be with her eternal, risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born March 22, 1926, in Ft. Smith, Ark., to the late Thomas Ivan and Grace Emanuel (McLellan) Mowrey. She was a member of the Liberty Bell Extension Homemakers Club, former member of the First Baptist Church, Olive St., and current member of the First Baptist Centerton. Mary Ann was an avid knitter and would spend hours working on her masterpieces. She also loved to travel and managed to see most of the continental United States and Alaska, Canada and Mexico with her husband, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. (Buster) Patterson Jr., and daughter, Deborah Reed. Mary Ann is survived by her son, Dale Patterson (Dena) of Rogers; daughter, Dana Ryan (Jerry) of Harrison; brother, Tom Mowrey (Carol) of Cedarville; and grandchildren, Sarah Tamayo, Marc Ryan, Manny Ryan, Aaron Patterson, Trent Patterson; and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, July 19, 2020, from 3 to 5 p.m., at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Please maintain COVID-19 guidelines and be prepared to wear a mask.
