Reno VA, Sierra Nevada Health Care to host inaugural virtual town hall event for veterans
RENO — The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System will host its inaugural monthly “Veteran Insight” virtual town hall event beginning this Wednesday, April 21 at 5 p.m.
The town hall is scheduled to last 30 minutes. The intent of town hall event is to provide a conversation with veterans, including Q&As, along with updates on programs and/or policies at VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System. It will be streamed live via Facebook and Zoom.
Veterans with questions can send them to AskRenoVA@va.gov.
The inaugural event will include Acting Director Lisa Hamilton, Dr. Maisha Moore and Dr. Heather Mooney. The focus of this “Veteran Insight” will be COVID-19 vaccine administration and implementation of the SAVE LIVES Act.
