A Dutchess County food pantry that has served the community for decades is asking for some help in return.
The Pleasant Valley Ecumenical Food Pantry has been in business since the 1980s but is now looking for a new home because the church it is in is up for sale.
The food pantry says it serves about 100 families a day and would like to stay close to its current location to continue serving those in need.
The pantry has an agreement with the current church until 2022, but the pantry isn't sure what it will do if it's sold before then.
