AN EVIL child abuser who crushed a toddler's hands and feet and forced another girl to eat her own vomit has been jailed.
The beast, in his 30s, carried out a sickening "campaign of cruelty" on four victims “simply because they were children”, a court heard.
Medics who examined the tortured children - all aged under 10 - found 250 separate injuries.
Their abuser, from Derby, was able to attack the helpless tots all while their careless mum looked on and did nothing, jurors heard.
Other vile acts inflicted on the children included locking them in cupboards, throwing them into cold baths and running one over with a pram.
He even made them watch horror film clips involving killer clowns, the Derby Telegraph reports.
Prosecutor Abigail Joyce told a near-four-hour sentencing hearing at Derby Crown Court yesterday that one of the girls was left with 111 different injuries all over her body.
A second child was found to have 110 separate injuries and a third had 49, she said.
Jailing the man for six years, Judge Steven Evans said: “I have to sentence you for the most callous and mean offences perpetuated against those entirely unable to protect themselves, one of whom was a toddler.
“You assaulted her on more than one occasion, fracturing her feet and one of her hands.
“I have seen the photographs of her and she is literally covered in bruises from head to foot.
“This was a campaign of cruelty with no rationale and you targeted them simply because they were children."
Both the man and mother - who cannot be named to protect the identity of the children - were arrested and questioned after a social worker saw one of the girls had suffered such horrific bruising her face appeared brown.
Heartbreaking personal statements written by those who now care for the children were read in court.
They revealed that one child suffers from crippling anxiety — while others are plagued by night terrors.

The man pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and four counts of ill treatment of a child.
The mother, also in her 30s, pleaded guilty to four counts of child cruelty and was handed a two-year jail term, suspended for two years.
