CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The 60th Annual Texas Jazz Festival will be canceled.
According to the Texas Jazz Fest website, the organizers decided against hosting the festival this year due to safety concerns.
"The TJFS has determined that because of the continued transmission of the Covid-19 virus the 2020 60th Annual Texas Jazz Festival will be canceled," said their website."The safety and well being of our participants is the number one concern."
The festival organizers hope to bring the festival back next year.
"We are already planning next year's Festival and will continue to update the website as next year's Festival takes shape," said their website.
