Murrieta vs Temecula Creative Companies Compete for a Cause

The Creative Bar and 60 Grit go head to head in a softball game to benefit local non-profit organizations.

[Murrieta, California, November 13th, 2019] The Creative Bar of Murrieta, Ca and 60 Grit Studios of Temecula, Ca, will meet at Los Alamos Hills Sports Park, field #4, on December 7th, 2019 for a friendly, yet highly competitive, game of softball. The softball game is about more than just fostering relationships and bragging rights though. The company owners, Justin Lawler (The Creative Bar) and Gerry Marron and Jay Echeverria (60 Grit Studios), want to make the game more meaningful.

As a result, each company has selected a non-profit organization based in Murrieta and Temecula and will donate a set amount based on who wins and loses. The winner’s designated non-profit will receive $2,500 and the losing team’s designated non-profit will receive $1,000.

The Creative Bar has selected Oak Grove Center. Oak Grove Center is a nonprofit residential, educational and treatment Center (with multiple campuses) for children throughout California with psychological, emotional and behavioral problems and special needs.

60 Grit Studios has selected Charity for Charity, a non-profit organization raising funds to fulfill the wishes of local residents with life threatening illness or traumatic injury.
“We see this as a great opportunity to give back to the community and strengthen relationships with the people we work so closely with. We’re excited to play and are hoping that this will include more creative companies in the Temecula and Murrieta areas next year,” says Gerry, CEO of 60 Grit.
Justin, Principal of The Creative Bar, is equally as excited. “This is more than just a Murrieta vs. Temecula game between friends and community members. It’s a fun, yet meaningful way to give back to amazing local organizations and also involve more of the community in doing social good. We hope that this is the start of a great tradition!”
The softball game is open to members of both Murrieta and Temecula communities, with a concession stand open during the game for refreshments and all proceeds will be donated to the designated non-profit organizations.
