NEAR JANESVILLE (WKOW) -- A vehicle fire blocked an interstate off ramp in the Janesville area Friday evening.
511 Wisconsin indicates the fire happened on the southbound I-39/90 off-ramp to Highway 11 West/Avalon Road.
The Wisconsin State Patrol says the vehicle started seizing up, so the driver pulled off the interstate. After that, the vehicle started smoking and caught fire.
Footage from a nearby traffic camera showed the vehicle engulfed in flames. As firefighters tried to put out the flames, the smoke cloud grew larger and blew across the interstate.
Crews had the fire under control shortly after they got to the off-ramp.
The State Patrol says no one was hurt.
