Thomas Teg
Thomas Yon Teg, 52, succumbed to stage 4 colon cancer at home surrounded by his family on January 11, 2017.
Thomas was a very outgoing person who had an infectious joy that he loved to share with family and friends. No matter what he was doing, he loved spending time with family. Thomas enjoyed watching sports, going fishing, cars, fashion, music, and fun, and he was always ready to assist both friends and family whatever their need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chung Teg and In Siv Ly; sisters, Chou Ker, Pik Teg, and Eve Teg.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rose of 26 years, daughters, Kelly and Katy; siblings, Chear (Kiv), Cheng, Yung Hoa (Ay Lan), Khang (Ing); brother-in-law, Vanna Ker; nieces and nephews, Ty (Lauren) Lee, Amy Teg, Richard Teg, Adam Teg, Suzanna (Clint) Epperson, Ricky (Gloria) Teg, Jeffrey Teg, Timothy Teg, Sarah Teg; grandson, John “Tre” McGahee III and grandnephews, William Lee, Jaxon Teg, Jacen Teg, and Luke Epperson. Thomas was a loving and dedicated father, husband, grandfather and friend to all.
Funeral services will be held on Jan. 14, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Willie Paul officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center at www.vicc.org/about/help/ to support cancer research or patient and family assistance.
