Exploring what is next for AI-based driver monitoring

Mouser releases the latest chapter of its Empowering Innovation Together program. The new episode examines the importance of driver monitoring systems for occupant presence and condition – including fatigue or distraction – to help facilitate the safety needed for Level 3 autonomous driving and beyond. The driver monitoring systems topic describes the methods by which detection of the driver and occupants can mitigate adverse conditions utilising new user interfaces. Interior monitoring systems can spot signs of distracted or fatigued drivers together with occupant presence and condition to warn the driver.
