Actress Emma Stone is listing her blufftop home in Malibu, Calif., for $4.295 million.

Ms. Stone, 33, who has starred in films such as “La La Land,” “Cruella” and “Battle of the Sexes,” purchased the Midcentury Modern home overlooking the Pacific Ocean for $3.25 million in 2018, records show.

The one-story ranch sits on about 3.2 acres, according to listing agent Eric Lavey of Sotheby’s International Realty. With three bedrooms, the house spans approximately 1,800 square feet, with ocean views from most rooms and a recently remodeled, eat-in kitchen, Mr. Lavey said. The house is surrounded by eucalyptus and yucca trees, he said, and has a large brick patio that overlooks the coastline.

“It’s a classic 1958 California Midcentury hanging over the Pacific,” Mr. Lavey said. “It’s the Malibu beach house they would choose for a Nancy Meyers movie.”

The property is located near a number of local Malibu landmarks, including the Hawaiian restaurant Duke’s and Big Rock Beach, a narrow rocky beach that is often underwater during higher tides.

Records show Ms. Stone’s real-estate portfolio also includes a house in Los Angeles, which she purchased in 2019 for $2.3 million, and an apartment in Manhattan, which she bought for $3.56 million in 2018. She also purchased a home in Austin, Texas, last year, records show.

Mr. Lavey declined to comment on why Ms. Stone is selling the property, but said he expects it to be snapped up quickly. The Malibu market for properties priced under $5 million has been moving at a lightning pace in recent months, given the lack of inventory at that price point, he said. Many residents of expensive areas farther east, such as Beverly Hills or Holmby Hills, like the idea of having a smaller house near the beach, he said.
