You Can Get Spooked Out Of Your Mind On This Georgia Ghost Train Next Month

You never know who's going to end up on your ride 👻
Contributor

As soon as the fall season starts to make its way in, many may think of apple and pumpkin picking, hayrides, and getting scared out of their minds in a haunted house. Georgia's haunted attractions come in all different shapes and sizes with their own personal spooky flair. In North Georgia, you can find a haunted train, and it's a ride not for the faint-of-heart.

The Pine Mountain Gold Museum hosts this haunted ride every year. You'll hop on the terrifying train of death and watch as your worst nightmares come to life

It's a very popular attraction among locals and according to some comments on the business' Facebook page, this is something they look forward to every year.

From October 1 to October 31, you can take the trip up the mountain and see how brave you really are. Tickets are already on sale and will likely book up quickly because seating is limited due to social distancing measures this time around.

If ghosts and darkness just aren't your thing, there's a less-scary option available during the day. But once the sun goes down and the creatures come out, everything comes off the rails.

Every year the train takes on a different theme, and you won't know what it is until you hop aboard. It'll take you through various terrifying scenes and you might even get spooked by one of the evil ghosts.

The last train ride of the night leaves at 9:40 p.m. So if you want to be extra freaked out, wait until the last time slot.

Pine Mountain's Ghost Train is only $14.02 (after fees), which you may find is a bit cheaper than some of the other haunted attractions in the state.

You won't have to walk around like in a haunted house, and your heart will still be beating out your chest. Try to beat that experience.

While you wait for night to come, you can explore the rest of what the Pine Mountain Gold Museum has to offer.

There are actual mining sites used many years ago, numerous nature trails, and an area where you can dig for your own gold.

All aboard!
