LOUDOUN COUNTY, VA — Loudoun County's coronavirus vaccine clinic at Sterling's Dulles Town Center now accepts walk-ins, according to the Loudoun County Health Department. The clinic is also changing its hours of operation in the coming weeks.

The vaccine clinic will only be open for three days each week, beginning on June 14. In a news release, the Loudoun County Health Department said the schedules are changing to "accommodate walk-in services and demand for service to ensure the clinic is operating at maximum efficiency while serving the community."

Dr. David Goodfriend is Loudoun County's health director. "Loudoun residents have done an amazing job getting their vaccines, more than 72 percent of the adult population has received at least one dose of vaccine so far," he said. "I encourage anyone who has not yet received a vaccine to get one as soon as possible to protect your family and help our community get back to normal as soon as possible."

Vaccinations are free to the public at Loudoun County's coronavirus vaccine clinic. The clinic is located at Dulles Town Center in Sterling, at 21090 Dulles Town Circle. Vaccines are available for all people aged 12 or older.

In addition to the reduced hours, the health department also announced that the vaccination clinic would be closed on Friday, June 18 and Saturday, July 3.

On Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12, the vaccination clinic at Dulles Town Center will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The vaccine clinic will then be open from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 14; from 1;30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15; and from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19.

Beginning on Wednesday, June 23rd, the clinic will maintain regular hours for three days each week for the foreseeable future. On Tuesdays, the clinic will administer shots from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. On Fridays, they will distribute vaccines from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. On Saturdays, they will be open from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., except on July 3.

Virginia residents can use the Vaccine Appointment Scheduling Engine to find an appointment through the health district. Alternatively, residents can use the federal vaccine finder tool to find a coronavirus vaccine from a pharmacy or other healthcare provider.
