Why are you seeking elective office?

I grew up in a military family where service was a value that was taught to me from a very early age. I was born with complete vision loss due to three months prematurity, so running for public office is my way of giving back and serving my community. I am running because I know what it's like to feel left behind, unheard, and forgotten. I am running to make sure that everyone has a voice regardless of Party. I am running to listen, to work hard, and to ensure that people with disabilities have representation in the state house.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The single most pressing issue facing our district that I am hearing from citizens is high taxes. I intend to ensure that there is never a sales or income tax, and that taxes remain as low as possible while still providing the best services.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The critical differences between myself and my opponent are that I will show up to every house session, and constituents will always be my number one priority.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

The best advice ever shared with me was …

Never be defined by your challenges, never let your challenges hold you back, and always when someone says you can't do something let that drive you to want to do it even more.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
