Nashville Predators Preseason Schedule Set

The Predators preseason schedule includes two home games and four on the road including the traditional doubleheader against Florida.

NASHVILLE, TN -- The defending President's Trophy-winning Nashville Predators will begin their 2018-19 quest for the Stanley Cup with a six-game preseason slate, the team announced Tuesday.

The Predators will play twice at Bridgestone Arena and four times on the road against the Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Carolina Hurricanes over the last two weeks of September.

The schedule begins with the now-traditional split-squad doubleheader against Florida in Sunrise Sept. 17, followed by a back-to-back home-and-home against the Bolts Sept. 21 in Nashville and Sept. 22 in Tampa. The exhibition slate ends with two games against Carolina: Sept. 25 at Bridgestone and Sept. 30 in Raleigh.

The regular season begins the following week. The NHL will announce that schedule in the coming weeks.

The 2018 Nashville Predators Rookie Camp is scheduled to open Thursday, Sept. 6, with the team's prospects traveling to Estero, Fla., for a rookie tournament against the Washington Capitals and Tampa Bay Lightning from Sept. 8 to 11.
