MAPLEWOOD, NJ - R.L. Stine, author of the Goosebumps series, Dan Gutman of Weird School fame and Ibi Zoboi, author of the YA hits American Street and Pride and editor of the collection, Black Enough: Stories of Being Young and Black in America, will be among the more than children’s authors at the third annual Maplewood—South Orange Book Festival on Saturday, June 8.

The Maplewood—South Orange (MAPSO) Book Festival brings together readers and authors in celebration of the joy and diversity of the written word, organizers said. Informative author panels highlight the major artistic, social, and political issues of the day, while a vibrant and fun-filled children’s area allows the youngest readers to discover the importance and delight of books—and meet many of their favorite authors.
