Two Henry Co. men arrested for drug charges

On August 19th, 2017 at approximately 12:10 am The Henry County S.W.A.T. Team executed a narcotics related search warrant for the Abbeville PD/Henry County S.O. Task Force at 309 AB Cotton Drive in Headland Alabama. As a result of the search warrant, officers recovered a Lab used to manufacture Synthetic Marijuana, over 300 grams of Synthetic Marijuana, Cocaine, Illegal Prescription Medication, Firearms, & U.S. currency from the illegal sell of narcotics.

Arrested were Eddie Earl Jackson (34) of Headland, Jackson was charged with Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Drug Trafficking, & Unlawful Possession of a Control Substance (Barbiturates). Jackson’s bonds totaled $365,000.

Also arrested was Ernest Andreco Whitehurst (25) of Headland Al, Whitehurst was charged with Manufacturing a Controlled Substance, Drug Trafficking, & Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine). Whitehurst bonds totaled $410,000.

Sheriff Will Maddox would like to thank all agencies involved in removing this poison from the streets of Henry County. As long as there are people that are manufacturing and/are distributing this poison we will be actively and aggressively seeking to arrest and prosecute these individuals.
