Kathy Scott appointed as first female coroner in Bullock County

BULLOCK COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) - Gov. Kay Ivey appointed the first female to serve as coroner of Bullock County.

Kathy Scott was appointed as Bullock County coroner on Tuesday. In October, she was temporarily appointed by the probate judge.

Scott is a registered nurse.
