everyone was able to get out safely.

The Willow Creek Retirement Home behind those apartments was also evacuated. Those residents were taken to the Eldon Church of the Nazarene. The church was not damaged, although several trees around the church and the parsonage.

Many roads were closed due to downed power lines, gas leaks, and overturned vehicles.

"I drove my wife and kids over here, I think at the tail end of it," said James Chapman, Youth Leader at Eldon Church of the Nazarene. "Loud noise, trees blowing everywhere, limbs coming down. I had to drive around a few of them on the road. It was pretty bad as far as the wind and all that goes. Driving between my house and the church, I noticed several pieces of buildings, like roofs that had been pulled off and blown around the streets."

There have been reports of injuries, but a number has not been released.
