New Jersey Suspends Burlington County Restaurant's Liquor License For Defying COVID-19 Orders

BURLINGTON, N.J. (CBS) -- The state of New Jersey has suspended the liquor license of a Burlington County restaurant for defying Gov. Phil Murphy's COVID-19 orders.

Authorities say the move comes after Il Portico Ristorante held a "raucous" Fourth of July party inside and outside of the business.

The restaurant could lose its liquor license permanently due to a second incident there.
