Popular British band The Vamps and Swedish DJ Otto Knows will kick off F1 celebrations this weekend at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).

The international artists will take to the stage on Saturday in a back to back concert ahead of the much anticipated Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

The show will kick off at 7pm, and F1 ticket holders will be granted entry.

Having first gained fame in 2012 with cover songs uploaded to YouTube, The Vamps were quickly signed by Mercury Records.

In 2013 they released their debut single Can We Dance, which reached number two on the UK singles chart.

Otto Knows is a DJ and music producer who has collaborated with artists such as Britney Spears, Sebastian Ingrosso, Alesso and many more.

The BIC will play host to another line-up of international and Arab stars the following weekend.

Racegoers will get to see Kuwaiti legend Abdulla Rowaishid and Lebanese superstar Najwa Karam take to the stage on April 17 followed by Arab singers Waleed Alshami and Amar Zain.

Global music sensation Pitbull will perform on April 18 for his headlining performance during the race weekend.

Well-known for songs such as Timber, We Are One and Wild Wild Love, Pitbull has collaborated with many international artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Afrojack and Ne-Yo to name but a few.
