Aluminium Bahrain BSC (Alba) underlined its credentials as a strong advocate of Bahrain's progressive march in social, political and economic reforms as the company marked the 12th anniversary of the National Action Charter with celebrations held at the HRH Princess Sabeeka Oasis on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.

The National Action Charter of Bahrain was a document put forward by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and was approved in a national referendum held on February 14, 2001.

Alba's Chief Executive, Tim Murray and the Chairman of Alba Labour Union, Ali Bin Ali led the celebrations and were joined by members of the Executive Management Team, managers of different departments, members of the Alba Labour Union along with a large contingent of Alba's employees.

Commenting on Alba's celebrations of the National Action Charter Day, Alba's Chief Executive, Tim Murray said:

"As a company that has benefited from Bahrain's social, economic and industrial policies, it is natural for Alba to celebrate the National Action Charter Day with a sense of pride and gratitude.
